Media Training Video Crew in Vienna, Austria
Video Crew Hire provided a video crew for British clients for their media training in Vienna, Austria. For this training we used our Canon C300 digital cinema camera with the Canon EF 24 – 105 mm 1:4 L IS II USM zoom lens. Lighting was done with 2 x Bebob led lights and some Dedo Tungsten lights. For audio we had to use a mixer and mix the reporter’s track with the interviewee’s track as the local AV system was capable to take only one audio channel.
Media trainings are not new to us, we had a few of these in the past. Media training is very useful for corporate representatives, politicians working in delicate situations. These trainings can teach participants how to use words, tone, and body language to deliver messages in a powerful way. When people are speaking on television, the audience is not only listening to their words, they are also looking at the body language and facial expressions.
One of the biggest benefits of media training is that participants can develop confidence in speaking with the media. Corporate executives sometimes are terrified by interviews, live radio or television. Journalists can ask questions, that are difficult to answer or put corporate reps on the spot. Media training can prepare them for challenging questions or for any unexpected twists or turns in interview situations. For example, a media training video crew we provided last year with another British media house was for a Russian oil company operating in Ukraine. Obviously, in the current political situation between Ukraine and Russia, it is very difficult for a Russian company operate in the country. That training helped Russian representatives to face the local (often hostile) press with more confidence.
